シカゴ出身の4人組バンド、Tekulvi（テクルヴィ）彼らはク Chris Almodovar (guitar/vocals), Phil Naumann (guitar), Greg Sharp (drums), and Brian Harper (bass) その後、Josh Brownin交代によって結成された。1998年にトリオとしてスタートしたTekulviは、1999年後半にはカルテットとなり、そのサウンドはFugaziを彷彿とさせる、鋭利で不協和音を多用し、研ぎ澄まされたサウンドとして短くも濃密な短期間の活動で終わった。デビューは1999年のシングル「Tetrahedron/Pugilistica」。そして2000年7月には、自主レーベルCamel Clutchから初のフルアルバム『Who Knows Where We Are』をリリースし、中西部と東海岸で精力的にライブを行った。このアルバムは、2001年4月にはLoose Threadレーベルから再リリースされるほど注目を集めました。さらに2002年には、シカゴのDivot RecordsからEP『In Recognition of Your Significant Accomplishments』をリリースしたが、残念ながら2003年にはバンドは活動を休止。そして、2025年にExpert Work Recordsから『In Recognition of Your Significant Accomplishments』のレコードで再リリース。
レコード盤には、未発表曲2曲が追加され全8曲となっている。このヒリヒリとしてディスコード直系のサウンドは強烈なインパクトを残した作品。
