Sweet teethは、スウェーデンのフィンスポングという地方の小さな都市で結成した。彼らは、地元のローカルバンド、The Deadbeats、Disfear、Dollhouse、Year Of The Goat、Tortyr、The Dontcaresと言ったバンドで活動していたメンバーで構成されている。お互いに、同じバックグランドを持ち意気投合した4人が完璧な形を見つけ出した。このデビューミニアルバム「Acid Rain」をリリースし、Hüsker Düの全盛期を思い起こさせるノイズかつドライヴィンなどサウンドと称賛を受けて、スウェーデン国内で話題になりメディアからも注目された。Little Steven (Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band)の"The Underground Garage"という番組で彼らのデビューEPから「My Heart is Big and Broken」が紹介されて、彼からも大絶賛を得た。その後、スウェーデンのインディーズアワードManifestgalanで年間最優秀パンクレコードにノミネートされました。
このEPは、7曲で、ショートチューンが炸裂するパンキッシュなイメージが強く、オルタナティブなグランジとドライヴィンなパンクサウンドがかけ合わさった印象もあって、Leatherface、Hot water music、Jawbreakerあたりが好きな人にもアプローチできるサウンド！
