The Jealous Sound の活動再開後にリリースされた。2012年のアルバム「A Gentle Reminder」のレコードを入荷しました。こちらは、オリジナル盤に当たる、Burnt Toast Vinyl からリリースバージョンです。彼らは、KnapsackのBlair Shehan（ボーカル&ギター）を中心に、ギターBenito（Sunday's Best）、ベースJohn McGinnis（Neither Trumpets Nor Drums）、Tony Palermo（Pulley）によって、初期のThe Jealous Sound は、活動を開始した。その後、ドラムが一時加入してAdam Wade（Jawbox、Shudder to Think）と90年代中期～後期のEmoメンバーで結成されたスーパーバンド的な勢いがあった。2009年頃からの再スタートは、Blair Shehan、Bob Penn、Michael Richardsonの3人とサポートで活動を再開している。Blair を中心のメンバーの入れ替わりやレーベル移籍など、順風満帆という活動ではないが、「A Gentle Reminder」の製作にあたり、レコーディングには、Nate Mendel（Sunnyday Real Estate～Foo Fighters）がベースを担当し、Foo Fighters所有のスタジオでレコーディングされた。熟練されたアダルトエモの枯れた哀愁とメロディアスなサウンドが突き刺さる貫録を感じるアルバム。
